Founded in 1951, Kohda has specialized in manufacturing of cylinder valves. We have been contributing to the society through providing customers our quality products in timely manner. We today are still steadfastly devoted to develop superb products created through our long experiences and techniques.

The basic functions of a cylinder valve are three: a plug to hold a fluid, an inlet to let the fluid in, and an outlet to allow the fluid to come out. When thinking about a line operator handling gas in a cylinder without even thinking about those cylinder valve functions, it is essential that the valve assures smooth closing motion and yet surpasses in leak-tightness. Gases have their own property. Some are toxic or hazardous and even life-threatening when a leakage occur. Those gases Kohda products handle are often toxic and/or corrosive. Providing safe products, therefore, is our mission and is our essential basic value.

Having overcome the global financial crisis, the manufacturing industry as well is encountering the new phase. To meet the swift market needs promptly and precisely, Kohda has enhanced product management using original product management software and state-of-the-art technologies are incorporated.
